Articles of Organization Fee

For example, under New York law if you sell merchandise, you will owe a sales tax; if you purchase merchandise from out of state, you will owe a use tax; and if you maintain employees, you may have to pay withholding and unemployment taxes and workers’ compensation.

The only time that your LLC would have to file a corporate tax return is if you’ve set it up to be taxed like a c corporation.

In that case, the LLC would pay the 6% corporate income tax.

If your LLC is set up as a New York Corporation, you won’t have to pay the Franchise Tax, but you will have to file a separate corporate tax return and pay the corresponding corporate tax rate.
