Bahmann Foundation - Senior Citizens
The Bahmann Foundation’s mission is to reduce isolation of low–income, older adults through technology. This is accomplished by granting funds to non–profit, charitable organizations that provide applicable services in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region. Foundation grants help fund programs and purchase equipment that stimulate mental and physical activity in elderly adults.
Barberton Community Foundation
The Barberton Community Foundation areas of funding interest include education, public health, public recreation and to lessen the burden of government. The Foundation also has a scholarship program for Barberton High School students.
In general, one–half of the Bicknell Fund grants are made for Social & Human Services to help the needy, homeless and disadvantaged in the Cleveland area. More than one–quarter of our grants are for Education. The Bicknell Fund distributes roughly 65% of their grants to Human and Social Services, 30% to Secondary and Special Education, and the rest to Civic and Public Affairs, as well as the Arts and Humanities.
